Notbremsüberbrückung

Some distance markers have orange stripes across the top and bottom. These indicate areas where passenger trains should not stop when an emergency stop is activated.
(German: Notbremsüberbrückung) The aim is to prevent trains form stopping where it would be extra dangerous for passengers to alight, such as in tunnels and on bridges.

The train driver is meant to proceed until the train is clear of the area before stopping.

I added some to the track leading up to one of my tunnels.
